WASHINGTON — The IRS Independent Office of Appeals has selected Elizabeth (Liz) Askey as its new deputy chief. In this role, she will provide leadership and direction over nationwide programs designed to fairly and impartially resolve tax controversies without litigation on behalf of the federal government and taxpayers.
Chief of Appeals Andy Keyso noted he wanted to bring in a leader with significant experience in the practitioner community.
